Re: How to dynamically enable/disable close button?

Hi,

It's never too late to answer a question. Solutions are always more than welcome! Thanks... :D

Could it be that this function is quite new? At the time of my post, I don't think this was avaialbe already. IIRC, I think wxWidgets was somewhere around version 2.6 or so...

Debugging KiCAD VC++ 2005 Express Edition.

Hi, After quite some time of suffering and thanks to the help of Daniel Wallner (see http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/kicad-devel/message/159), I've been able to finally compile KiCAD with Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition. To tell a bit more about KiCAD: this is a full-blown and free CAD package fo...

What I have now discovered is, that only the breakpoints are set of the application which is defined when starting up the debug session. In my example above, if I start one of the 4 "side" programs, then the breakpoints set in that executable are hit. All the other ones are still not. But I need to ...

#if defined(__VISUALC__) && defined(_MT) && !defined(_DLL) ... As you can see, under certain conditions, the method wxStringData::Free() does not exist and i think that is your problem here. Seems to be the case, indeed. _MT is not defined. But there's one thing I do not understand (well, only one?...

I can't really help you there, but it would be interesting to know which libs you already have linked. Hi, You're right, I should have mentioned this. Sorry about that. I've linked them all. Here's the overview: wxbase27d.lib wxbase27d_net.lib wxbase27d_odbc.lib wxbase27d_xml.lib wxexpatd.lib wxjpe...

Hi, This question has never been answered, although it would be very interesting to know this: Is there a way to know in which libs certain classes are located? I get for instance the following errors: 1>preferences.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: void __thiscall wxStringDat...

Well, what the heck...

I used good ol' CodeWright to do the job for me. Was piece of cake and now all my sample builds go through.

This error message seem to appear because VC++ does not understand UNIX line endings (\n) but understands only (\r\n) i don't remember if it is possible to set this parameter using Tools -> Options. It is possible that some more elegant way exists. Thanks for this input. Indeed, by changing the EOL...

wxWidgets 2.7.0: .vcw extension iso .dsp?

Hi, I've seen there's a change in extension for the samples delivered with wxWidgets 2.7.0-1. The projects are not longer called .dsp, but .vcw. The problem is, I can't compile them, neither with Visual Studio C++ 6.0, nor with VC++ 2005 Express Edition. When trying to open them, I get lots of error...
