Re: Mouse positions in a wxScrolledWindow

I would try to use

Code: Select all

 wxPoint screen = //something which gets the mouse position on screen
 ScreenToClient(&screen.x, &screen.y);
 wxPoint unscrolledPos;
 CalcUnscrolledPosition(screen.x, screen.y, &unscrolledPos.x, &unscrolledPos.y);

wxCollapsiblePane with wxCP_NO_TLW_RESIZE cuts part of label

Hello everyone, in the collpane sampel, when adjusting this line m_collPane = new wxCollapsiblePane(this, -1, "This is a wxCollapsiblePane") to m_collPane = new wxCollapsiblePane(this, -1, "This is a wxCollapsiblePane", wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxCP_NO_TLW_RESIZE); the l...

Re: Assertions in release build

catalin, thanks for the information. I believe we are not in disagreement here. Is this behavior expected? I won't expect any assertions when compiling with NDEBUG but it looks like I've to set the debug level for compiling wxWidgets in release mode manually. I thought he was getting wxASSERTs even...

Re: Assertions in release build

That's interesting. When compiling and testing your code, I got the same behavior as you described.

So, I need further investigation on my code. Probably I made somewhere a stupid mistake and don't find it at the moment.

Assertions in release build

Hi all, somehow i managed to get Debug Assertion messages in my release build, because of index out of bounds in wxArrayString. Beside the point that I've to fix the out of bound error I'd a look inside the wxWidgets sources, because I was curious about a debug assertion in release mode. By I found ...

For some reasons I can't create an account there: verification email is not sent.
I had the same problem with the registration. I used the resend verification mail option a day later, then I received the verification mail.

wxGrid Bug in SetColLabelSize

Dear commuinity I fear, I found a bug in wxGrid::SetColLabelSize() with wxGRID_AUTOSIZE, when the label has empty lines. In this case the calculated label size is too small. This happens beacause wxGrid::GetTextBoxSize() uses wxTextMeasureBase::GetTextExtent() for each line. But this function return...

Re: Close button creates event with wxID_OK

That's the point. In this case the event handler for the close event should be called. But it isn't.

Re: Close button creates event with wxID_OK

But you are not using any button with wxID_CANCEL, are you? IIRC that works just like "escape id", and that one is described by wxDialog::SetEscapeId() docs. Yes, but the default style contains wxCLOSE_BOX, and my question was about the behavior of the closing 'X' created by the style. I ...

Close button creates event with wxID_OK

Dear community, I've a little problem with a self written dialog. In the case that I don't define an event handler for wxID_CANCEL the event handler for wxID_OK is called, when I click on the cross in the top right corner. Of course, when defining an event handler for wxID_CANCEL, every thing works ...
